Well quite frankly the other 22 must feel they are quite insignificant sometimes. It’s like ‘Hellloooo, Rooney isn’t the only one in the squad’.
Someone, somewhere – can’t remember where I was reading it - did also point out that following his injury Beckham failed to sizzle on the field so perhaps it would be a good idea to ease off this Rooney hype for a bit.
Why on earth am I reading about football anyway!
